Development of Conformable Passive RFID Tag
Project Award Date: 05-20-2011
Radio frequency identification (RFID) technology enables on-demand, real-time identification and tracking of assets, greatly improving inventory applications. Currently, there are no commercially available RFID tags that are able to operate on cylindrical surfaces within the required temperature range of -60 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit (-51 to 71 degrees Celsius). ITTC researchers will design and develop components of a long-range passive RFID system able to meet these specified requirements.
