RICE--Radio Ice Cerenkov Experiment Laboratory Management System for Proteomics Application

Researchers are currently in the process of finishing the analysis of old data and preparing for a new round of deployments using upgrades in hardware. The Radio Ice Cherenkov Experiment (RICE) investigates neutrinos, space particles that may hold information about the physical universe. RICE is a set of detectors designed to pick up radio waves given off by the collision of high-energy subatomic particles, neutrinos, with the dense, clear ice below the station. These neutrinos sought come from far outside our solar system and may help space physicists learn more about the formation of the universe.
